Panama: A Spanish Paradise!

We really like Panama.  Bordered by Costa Rica and Columbia it is a beautiful country and we've been there twice.  Below are some of the pictures we've taken at the various sites including the Panama Canal.  Enjoy!

Here is Andrew at JFK airport in New York City.  Our Copa Airlines flight was leaving very early so here's Andy with his coffee at 2am, still very  tired but in good spirits (lucky for me!)
Seeing the Panama City skyline for the first time.
The beautiful Intercontinental Playa Bonita (below are extra pictures of the grounds and the beach)
The view from our balcony.
Aren't the grounds amazing?  Below is the bar.

We LOVED this pool!
Look at the view!!! Gorgeous!

We loved this Panamanian soup!!!  It was delicious.  To this day I haven't had a soup that could beat this one!

Marie having a drink at the little Cantina we found on the Amador Causeway.  The beer for the 2 of us came to $1!!

Here we are at the Gamboa Rainforest.  There were so many interesting species of flowers, butterflies and insects.  It was a fun time.  We also enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the Rainforest.

At the Intercontinental Playa Bonita enjoying drinks by the pool.  What fun!!
